NHS | LADbible Group

The NHS came to LADbible Group with a brief to showcase the creative careers available within the NHS, in a move to drive uptake of roles amongst young people.
Our campaign

The piece that stands out the most strongly to me was 'The Ocularist' - a film that follows Ocularist Samantha Mizzi as she explains the importance of her incredible role giving a sense of identity back to patients who have had to have enucleation (the process of removing an eye).

The inspiration for this campaign came via a visit to Moorfields with my own mother, who underwent eye removal due to cancer. I went to her prosthetic fitting, and I was blown away by the intricate art of recreating the person's eye - every single one delicately hand painted. This is my proudest piece of work to date due to the deep meaning it still holds for me.
